Dimitra Viveli's collection entitled RESTORATION OF NETWORK IN FOUR MOVES is a venture that attempts to explore, record, and imprint the interrelations and processes that incite the formation and shaping of human relations and social networks. With that in mind and towards this end, the collection essays a penetration into human existence, primarily focusing on the communication and interaction among its various levels and functions, as well as the mechanisms that formulate common realities amongst interconnected parties. The ultimate aim of such research is to discover, uveil, and experience a form of connection and co-existence, in which the joined members participate fully and sincerely, shaking off the conventions and structures that obsure their meanings and keep them captive to disfunctional, mutilating schemes, with no continuity or coherence.
The collection comprises works of various techniques and materials, which are joined together and interact via the presence of the chord. The enfolding sound of waves reflects a model of esoteric rhythm, as envisioned by Enrico Benco.
